Turning sixty years of expertise into quotes that take minutes
Brief
Eton Systems has sold overhead conveyor systems to garment and textile factories since 1967, and runs a large number of projects every year. Every quote drew on decades of specialist knowledge: manual assessments, input from several experts, and lead times of weeks before a customer saw a proposal.
Solution
We embedded sixty years of accumulated experience into business logic and structured data. The work spanned the whole value chain, from the sales process and customer needs to the expertise and decision logic underneath it. On top we designed a digitally supported workflow, an interface with conversational functionality, where one employee does what previously required several specialists.
Result
A compelling, data-driven proposal now takes minutes instead of weeks. The same team can handle substantially higher sales volumes without a corresponding increase in headcount, and decades of organisational knowledge have become a repeatable capability rather than something that lives with a few individuals.

Unstructured customer input, including material written in other languages, is automatically translated and standardised into Eton Systems' own units, terminology and data structure. Every analysis starts from the same foundation, and most of the manual work of interpreting what a customer actually sent in disappears.
Line configurations are then optimised against different objectives: staffing, throughput or available floor space. Alternative scenarios can be evaluated quickly, and each proposal is tailored to the customer's operational and commercial priorities.

Much of the quotation and design work used to be stored locally, on individual computers, and valuable reasoning was lost over time. Inputs, assumptions, calculations and outputs are now part of a structured knowledge base that documents itself as the work is done.

- We are extremely pleased with our collaboration with Weapp. They are professional, customer-focused and solution-oriented, while at the same time very easy to work with. What I appreciate most is that they have taken the time to truly understand our business and what we are trying to achieve. As a result, they feel much more like a partner — almost an extension of our own team — than a traditional supplier.
